Application: 68-tooth non-ferrous metal blade for cutting aluminum, brass, copper, lead, and zinc - extrusions, sheet to 3/16", angle stock, channel, and trim. The high tooth count and tight gullet pattern prevent the blade from grabbing in soft metal. Always secure the workpiece firmly, use cutting wax or aluminum lube on the blade, and run the saw at full speed with a steady, light feed. Not for ferrous metals - use the DW3330 instead.
Blade Family Selection: Match the blade to the material. Combination (DW3325) for general wood, plywood (DW3326) for finish wood and panels, non-ferrous (DW3329) for aluminum/brass/copper, steel cut-off (DW3330) for ferrous metals. Using a wood blade in metal or a metal blade in wood destroys the teeth and can throw the blade.
Cutting Tip: Let the blade reach full RPM before touching the material. Keep the saw shoe flat against the work, feed at a steady rate, and don't force the cut - if the saw bogs down, back off and let the blade clear. Listen to the blade: a clean cut sounds smooth, a forced cut hums and burns. Inspect the teeth before each use; cracked or chipped teeth can shed at speed.
