The slotted stainless band tightens around the hose as the hex screw is turned, locking the hose to its fitting with even sealing pressure for low-pressure plumbing, automotive, and utility connections.

Tip: Position the clamp about 1/4" back from the cut end of the hose and tighten only until the hose surface deforms slightly under the band. Over-tightening can cut soft hose.
