Diameter selection: Use .080" for light residential trimming and lawn edging, .095" for mid-size gas trimmers and general yard work, and .105" for full-size gas trimmers cutting thick grass, weeds, and light brush. Match the diameter to your trimmer's specification - oversized line bogs the motor and overheats the head, while undersized line wears out fast.

Pack note: Small donut refill - shorter length for small yards, occasional trimming, or as a top-up between full-size spools. Same .105 diameter and 5-point shaped profile as the larger packages.

Tip: Wind the line snug and even on the spool to prevent welding (loops fusing together under heat from friction). Replace the entire spool of line when only one or two passes remain - running too short causes the head to vibrate unevenly.
