Fixture fit: R7S is a recessed single-contact base with spring-loaded sockets at each end of the bulb. The 78mm length is fixed - measure the socket gap before ordering, as 78mm and 118mm housings are NOT interchangeable. 78mm housings include decorative picture lights, smaller torchieres, under-cabinet xenon-replacement fixtures, and compact portable work lights.

Tip: Always replace halogen bulbs cold and handle them with a clean cloth or paper towel - skin oils create hot spots that shorten lamp life and can crack the quartz envelope.
