TOGGLER ALLIGATOR anchors work in virtually any wall material - drywall, plaster, hollow block, concrete, brick, tile, stucco, and wood. As the screw is driven, the anchor body collapses and extrudes against the inside of the hole, gripping tightly without chemicals or pre-expansion. One anchor type handles both hollow and solid walls, so you can stock a single anchor for the whole jobsite.

Install Tip: Drill the 5/16" hole, push the anchor in flush with the wall, then drive the screw - the anchor expands inside the wall as the screw goes in. No hammer-tapping or pre-expansion needed. To remove, back the screw out and pry the anchor head out with pliers.

Which Length: Match the anchor length to your wall thickness - 1-1/4" for single-layer drywall or paneling, 1-1/2" for general-purpose use in 1/2" or 5/8" drywall, 1-3/4" for thicker walls, double-layer drywall, or solid materials where a longer purchase improves grip.
