Anderson Metals lead-free brass flare connector joins 1/2" OD tubing to 3/8" female iron pipe thread. The 45-degree flare seat and separate nut let the joint be made up and broken repeatedly without replacing the fitting. To assemble: Cut a smooth, square end on the tubing. Slide the nut onto the tube with the threads facing the end. Flare the end of the tube. Thread the nut onto the body until snug, then 1/6 turn.
