Leviton's Clamptite straight-blade cord-end connector replaces damaged or worn female ends on extension cords, power tool cords, and appliance leads. Installation Tip: Strip 5/8" of jacket and 1/2" of conductor insulation. Land black on the brass terminal, white on the silver terminal, and green (or bare) on the green ground terminal. Form each conductor into a clockwise hook so the screw pulls the wire under the head as you tighten. Close the hinged body and verify the cord clamp seats on the jacket - never on the individual conductors.
