Plastic release tool for taking apart push-fit (push-to-connect) plumbing fittings. Slide the clip's collar against the fitting's release ring and push - the ring retracts, the internal teeth let go, and the pipe pulls straight out without damage. Reusable on the same fitting and pipe.

• For 1/2" push-fit fittings (compatible with SharkBite, Tectite, ProBite, and other standard 1/2" push-fit fittings)
• Plastic construction - lightweight, will not scratch the fitting
• Use the matching size clip for the pipe being released

Tip: Make sure the line is depressurized and drained before releasing the fitting. The push ring needs to be fully depressed and held while the pipe is pulled - if the pipe drags, back off and re-seat the clip square against the ring.
