Standard 10" Big Blue (4.5" diameter) form factor that drops straight into the Eco Water EPW4 housing or any compatible 10" BB filter housing. Replace on a calendar (every 3-6 months in typical residential use) or when pressure drop across the housing climbs noticeably - whichever comes first.

Installation: Shut off the inlet, depressurize through a downstream fixture, then unscrew the housing sump with a strap or filter wrench. Drop the new cartridge in core-up, lubricate the housing O-ring with a thin film of food-grade silicone grease (NOT petroleum), and snug the sump until firm. Open the inlet slowly with a downstream tap cracked to bleed air; check the housing for leaks before walking away.
