Premium polycarbonate U-shaped window well cover that keeps rain, snow, leaves, and small animals out of basement window wells while still letting daylight reach the basement window. Flexes to overlap the well rim and clamps into place with the included spring clips.

• Cover size: 53" wide x 26" projection x 2-1/2" rise
• Fits U-shaped wells ranging 49" to 53" wide x 24" to 26" deep
• Constructed from 1/12" thick clear polycarbonate ("unbreakable" grade)
• Reinforced galvanized steel back bar molded into the cover
• Formed support ribs across the span for snow and foot loads
• Mounting clips and instructions included; typical install ~10 minutes
• 7-year manufacturer warranty
• Model WW5326UM

Best for: standard egress and ventilation wells on the long side of a basement window where the rim is roughly 4 to 4-1/2 feet wide -- the most common new-construction well size.

Tip: Bend the cover into a slight arch when fitting so the back bar seats firmly against the foundation; a flat-laid cover lets snow load push the center down into the well.
