Designed for craftsmen, Old Masters Fast Dry Wood Stain is a high quality, interior oil-based (alkyd) wood stain that applies easily and enhances the wood's natural grain with its intensified depth of color and clarity. Its rapid dry time and superior performance let every project be topcoated more quickly for a more efficient turnaround, and it makes a great alternative to lacquer stains.

• Stir well, then brush, spray, or wipe on; wipe off the excess with a soft cloth before the stain dries
• Preferred for hardwoods such as oak, ash, walnut, and mahogany
• For interior wood surfaces: cabinets, doors, floors, furniture, and woodwork
• Recommended for bare wood, or for surfaces on which the previous finish has been completely removed
• Surface prep: sand with medium then fine grit in the direction of the grain, then remove dust with a tack rag
• Oil-based finishes may be applied 30 minutes after wiping; wait 24 hours before a water-based clear finish
• Dry time 30 to 60 minutes at 70 deg F and 50% relative humidity
• Topcoats with virtually any finish, including professional lacquers and conversion varnishes
• Coverage: approximately 31 square feet per half pint (500 sq ft per gallon; spreading rate varies with the porosity and texture of the wood)
• Custom colors: intermix Fast Dry Wood Stain colors, or add up to 10 oz of universal or industrial colorant per gallon
• Alkyd vehicle; solids by volume 29% to 32%; 7.15 to 8.30 lbs per gallon; flash point 102 deg F (Tag closed cup)
• VOC: 550 g/L (4.5 lbs/gal)
• Clean up with paint thinner or mineral spirits
• Color: Dark Walnut
• Size: 1/2 Pint

DANGER: Rags, steel wool, sanding residue, and other wastes used or soaked with this product may spontaneously catch fire if improperly discarded - no ignition source is required. Immediately place them in a sealed, water-filled metal container and dispose of in accordance with local fire regulations.
