Tip: Mount on a standard 4x4 wooden post or a steel mailbox post so the bottom of the box sits 41-45" above the road surface and the front of the box is set back 6-8" from the curb - the USPS spec for reliable delivery. Predrill the mounting holes to prevent splitting on a wood post.
