Conceal is a water-based elastic sealant made to disappear into woodwork. It is lightly textured to blend with woodgrain and tinted to match popular log and wood-home stains, so what you see is wood rather than caulk lines. It stretches and compresses with normal log movement instead of drying hard and cracking, keeping weather, moisture, and insects outside where they belong.

Where to use: interior and exterior wood - log homes, log checks and cracks, wood siding butt joints, around wood doors and windows, where wood meets chimneys, corner boards, baseboards, and crown molding.

Where not to use: over surfaces coated with a waxy or non-drying oil finish, over surfaces designed to be non-stick such as Kynar coatings, or over surfaces previously sealed with silicone - silicone and its residue must be removed first.

Tip: Apply the bead between 1/4 in. and 1/2 in. thick, no more. Sashco recommends staining first and caulking last, because the stain acts as a primer that helps Conceal grip the joint.
