APACHE PVC LAY FLAT BLUE DISCHARGE HOSE - 2" x 50 FtApache PVC lay-flat discharge hose for water transfer, dewatering, and light-chemical service in agriculture, construction, and irrigation. The PVC tube and cover are reinforced with three plies of polyester yarn that hold shape under pressure but collapse flat for compact storage on a reel or hanging hook. Pre-assembled with aluminum and brass male-x-female short-shank couplings secured with Band-It clamps - ready to thread onto a standard pump discharge and run.
- For open-end discharge of water, light chemicals, oils, grease, and many mild acids
- PVC tube and cover reinforced with 3-ply polyester yarn
- Pre-coupled: aluminum and brass male x female short-shank fittings, Band-It clamps
- Rolls flat for compact storage on a reel or hanger
- Inside diameter: 2" | Length: 50 Ft
Selection Tip (diameter): 2" diameter handles the discharge of most homeowner and small-farm pumps: sump pumps, 1.5-2 HP transfer/utility pumps, basement and crawlspace dewatering, light irrigation. Easier to drag and coil when full of water than the 3".
Selection Tip (length): 50 Ft length extends reach across pastures, driveways, and longer dewatering runs. Two 50 Ft sections also couple end-to-end with the Band-It-clamped short shanks for a 100 Ft pull when needed.
Use Tip: Lay-flat hose is open-end discharge only - never plug the far end or block flow, since pressure spikes in collapsed sections can blow the cover. Lay the hose downslope of the pump where possible so siphon-flow assists the pump. Sweep large kinks straight before starting the pump rather than pulling them out under pressure.
Care Tip: Drain fully after use - trapped water freezes and splits the cover, and stagnant ag water can rot the polyester reinforcement. Roll on a reel rather than stuffing into a tub; sharp folds become permanent weak points. Inspect the Band-It clamps each season for slip or corrosion at the ferrule.
