DEWALT T-SHANK JIG SAW BLADE, 10 TPI DOWN CUT - 4"Down-cutting T-shank jig saw blade with reverse-tooth geometry. The teeth point down (toward the saw) rather than up, so the blade cuts on the downstroke and pulls splinters into the workpiece - keeping the top face chip-free on laminate countertops, prefinished plywood, and veneered panels.
- Tooth count: 10 TPI down-cut (reverse-tooth pattern)
- Blade length: 4"
- High-carbon steel construction
- Precision-ground teeth hold an edge longer
- Minimizes tear-out and chipping on the top (visible) face
- T-shank fits all T-shank jig saws (DeWalt, Bosch, Makita, Milwaukee, Porter-Cable, Ridgid, Hitachi/Metabo HPT, Skil, Festool)
- 2-pack
Best for: Laminate countertops, prefinished plywood, veneered panels, melamine, and Formica - any material where the visible surface must stay chip-free.
Tip: Down-cut blades push chips down through the kerf, which means more saw vibration and slower feed than a standard up-cut blade - that is the trade-off for a clean top face. Use a vacuum attachment if your saw has one; chip evacuation is the weak point of reverse-tooth blades. Clamp a thin sacrificial backer to the bottom of the cut if you also need a clean bottom face.
