LEVITON SELF-TEST GFCI RECEPTACLE - 15 AMP, LIGHT ALMOND
Leviton self-test GFCI receptacle protects against ground-fault electric shock and meets the UL 943 self-test requirement: the device automatically verifies its own GFCI sense circuit every few seconds and trips itself if the protection circuit fails, removing the burden of monthly manual testing that older GFCIs required. Tamper-resistant shutters block foreign objects (paperclips, hairpins, keys) inserted into either slot alone, satisfying NEC 406.12 tamper-resistance requirements for residential receptacles in habitable rooms. A reduced-depth body fits in shallow remodel boxes that will not accept a standard GFCI.
