Tip: Match the slide length to your cabinet interior depth - the slide should not extend past the cabinet back. Pre-drill mounting holes through the four-way adjustment slots before screwing down to keep the rails parallel. Use #6 x 7/16" pan-head screws (or shorter if the drawer side is thin) so longer screws don't break through the cabinet face. After install, test the self-close action with the empty drawer first - a smooth glide and clean close means the rails are square; if the drawer hesitates near the front, loosen the screws and realign before loading the drawer.
