Tip: Cut pipe square with a tubing cutter (PEX cutter for PEX), deburr the inside and outside edges, then use the SharkBite depth and deburr tool to mark the proper insertion depth on the pipe. Push the pipe firmly past the O-ring until it bottoms out in the fitting - watch for the depth mark to reach the collar. To remove, slide a SharkBite disconnect clip over the pipe and press the release collar.
