A wrought copper 45 degree elbow that changes the direction of a copper line. Both ends are female sweat cups (C x C), so a length of tubing seats into each side and the joints are soldered in place. The 45 degree turn offsets a run around an obstruction with less flow resistance than a pair of sharper bends.
