The Woodford Model 17 is a freezeless anti-siphon wall faucet designed for year-round residential irrigation regardless of outside temperature. The valve seats inside the heated wall, so when the handle is closed and the hose is removed, water drains from the casing and the faucet will not rupture from freezing. An integral backflow preventer guards against back-pressure up to 125 PSI, eliminating the need for an add-on vacuum breaker.

Installation: Faucet must be installed with a downward pitch toward the nozzle. Remove the hose in freezing weather or the faucet may freeze and burst. Not intended for continuous-use applications.
