Anderson Metals lead free brass compression sleeve (ferrule) for 1/2" OD tubing. The sleeve seats between the fitting body and the compression nut; tightening the nut compresses it onto the tube to form the seal, so no flaring tool, no solder, and no thread sealant is required.

Tip: Slide the compression nut onto the tube first, then the sleeve, then insert the tube into the fitting body - assembling them out of order is the most common cause of a leaking compression joint.
