These bi-directional aluminum oxide sanding belts are sized for 3" x 24" portable belt sanders. The Tough Red Resin bond holds the grit firmly to the cloth backing through heavy use, and the bi-directional splice runs cleanly in either belt direction so you can mount the belt without checking the arrow.

Tip: 80 grit is the workhorse step for smoothing rough-sawn lumber, leveling glued-up panels, and knocking down old finish before moving to 100 or 120 grit for a finish-ready surface. Keep the sander moving to avoid gouging.
