Selection Tip: Door casings, wider baseboards, broader trim, and general residential cut-in work. Bridges between fine trim work and broader wall coverage when you don't want to switch brushes for each line.

Application Tip: Pre-condition the filaments in water for latex or mineral spirits for oil-based finishes, spin out the excess on a brush spinner or against a clean rag, then load the bottom third of the bristles by tapping (not wiping) against the inside of the can or pail. Cut in with the long edge of the angle leading and the short edge following, and feather off the wet edge to blend with the rolled or brushed surface for a lap-free finish.

Care Tip: Clean the brush immediately after use - warm soapy water for latex or mineral spirits for oil-based finishes. Comb the bristles with a brush comb to restore the chisel edge, spin dry, then hang by the handle hole or wrap in heavy paper or the original keeper so the angled shape sets back up for the next job.
