DAP Wallboard Joint Compound is a ready-to-use compound for the smooth, high-quality finishing of gypsum panel joints. It is preferred by professionals for embedding reinforcing tape and finishing joints, nail heads and metal corner beads. It has minimal shrinkage, is crack resistant, and can also patch and texture interior walls.

• Ready to use - no mixing required; stir thoroughly before applying
• Embeds reinforcing tape and finishes gypsum panel joints, nail heads and metal corner beads
• Minimal shrinkage and crack resistant for a professional, durable finish
• Sandable - wet sanding with a damp sponge is recommended to avoid airborne dust
• Also patches and textures interior walls
• Allow approximately 24 hours between coats; dry time increases with thickness, lower temperature or higher humidity
• Interior use; applications subject to water exposure must be sealed with a waterproof coating first
• Latex emulsion vehicle with calcium carbonate filler; creamy paste consistency
• Color: White; 12 lb container

Tip: Three coats give the best finish - embed the tape with a 5" knife, then feather each following coat about 2" beyond the last with a 10" knife.
