Step up from 1/2" copper tube size (CTS) plastic tubing to a 3/4" male pipe thread with this Type 01 polysulfone push-fit fitting. The 1/2" to 3/4" step is common at water heater connections, where the heater inlet is 3/4" but the branch line back to the manifold is 1/2".

Best for: water heater connections, transitioning a 1/2" supply line to a 3/4" stop or branch valve, and repair work where the existing male thread is 3/4" but the available tubing is 1/2".

Tip: When a 1/2" line feeds a 3/4" thread, the step-up doesn't reduce flow noticeably at residential pressures - keep tubing runs as short as practical and the joint will outlast the surrounding plumbing.
