Old Masters Spar-Marine Varnish is a superior exterior coating formulated to produce a high-quality, flexible finish that withstands water and weather. It contains ultraviolet absorbers for advanced sun protection.

Recommended for exterior new or previously finished wood, including painted wood and stained surfaces that have thoroughly dried. Ideal for fences, railings, lawn furniture, doors, boats, and marine surfaces, and for interior windowsills and door frames where added ultraviolet protection is wanted. For use on wood substrates only. Do not use on wooden decks or steps, wood siding, log homes, or wood boats below the water line.

As with all exterior clear finishes, this product will not offer unlimited protection against the elements. Surfaces that receive direct sunlight may have to be re-coated annually to prevent cracking and peeling.

• Coverage: approximately 63 sq ft per pint (maker rate: 500 sq ft per gallon)
• Stir thoroughly before and during application; do not shake
• Do not thin - use as packaged
• Allow 8 to 16 hours before recoating; overnight drying recommended
• Sand lightly between coats with 220 grit sandpaper
• Minimum of three coats on exterior surfaces
• MAX VOC: 350 grams/liter (2.9 lbs/gal)

DANGER: Rags, steel wool, sanding residue, and other wastes used or soaked with this product may spontaneously catch fire if improperly discarded. Immediately place them in a sealed, water-filled metal container. Dispose of in accordance with local fire regulations.
