MasterSeal NP 1 (formerly Sonolastic NP 1) is a one-component, high-performance, non-priming, gun-grade elastomeric polyurethane sealant. It requires no mixing and typically needs no priming to bond to concrete, masonry, aluminum, wood, stucco, natural stone, and clay or concrete roof tiles. It doubles as an acoustical sealant, cutting sound transmission around partition cut-outs and perimeters.

Applications: Interior and exterior, above and below grade - expansion joints, panel walls, precast units, aluminum and wood window frames, roofing, fascia, parapets, vinyl siding, and store front assemblies.

Before you apply: On green concrete, MasterSeal P 173 primer should be used in all applications, and joints should not be sealed sooner than 72 hours after the concrete is placed - sealing earlier will impair the sealant's ability to gain adhesion. Do not apply over freshly treated wood; treated wood must weather at least 6 months. Not for use in glazing applications - do not apply to glass or plastic glazing panels.

Tip: Match sealant depth to joint width - MasterSeal specifies 1/4" depth for 1/4" to 1/2" joints, 1/4" to 3/8" for 1/2" to 3/4" joints, 3/8" to 1/2" for 3/4" to 1" joints, and 1/2" for 1" to 1-1/2" joints. Shelf life is 1 year in unopened cartridges stored away from heat and direct sunlight.
