Sizing Tip: Match the trade size to the chain or connector it's joining - 1/8" for light chain and fine cable, 3/16" and 1/4" for general utility chain and dog tie-outs, 5/16" and 3/8" for swing seats, heavy planter chains, and gate chains.
Safety Note: Safe Working Load is the rated static load; do not use for overhead lifting of personnel or shock loading. Inspect the closure regularly - back the barrel off and re-tighten if vibration has loosened it.
