BOSTITCH 21-DEGREE SMOOTH SHANK FRAMING NAILS - 3", 4000-PACK

Bostitch RH-S series plastic-collated stick framing nails, 21-degree paper-tape collation, designed for full-round-head pneumatic framing nailers. Smooth shank profile, diamond-point tip for clean wood penetration without splitting nominal 2x material. Used through wall framing, sheathing, decking, and general rough carpentry where a stick-collated round-head nailer is on the jobsite.

  • Length: 3"
  • Collation: 21-degree plastic-collated stick
  • Shank: Smooth (standard for general framing connections)
  • Head: Full round head (FRH) - meets code for structural connections
  • Point: Diamond - clean entry, reduced splitting
  • Box quantity: 4,000 nails (sold as one box)
  • Bostitch MPN RH-S10D120EP

Compatible Nailers: Bostitch N79RH, N88RH, N90RHN, N95162; DeWalt D51845; DuoFast CN350B; Hitachi/Metabo HPT NR83A; Makita AN922; Porter-Cable FR350; and other 21-degree full-round-head framing nailers. Verify max leg length against the tool spec - some compact nailers cap below 3-1/2".

Application Tip (3"): 10d-equivalent length with a smooth shank in the .120" diameter class. The middle-of-the-range stick framing nail - top plate to stud, bottom plate to stud, blocking, fire stops, header assemblies, and most stud-to-stud connections in light-frame wall construction. The default leg length on the framing-nailer rack for most rough-in carpentry.

Stick vs Coil Tip: 21-degree stick nailers feed faster on a long flat run but the magazine sticks out from the body and limits access in tight corners. For close-quarter framing inside stud bays or against blocking, a coil framing nailer feeds with a shorter magazine profile. Coil collation also packs more nails per reload (~300-350 vs 60-80 in a stick strip), but stick nails are typically cheaper per box.
