STEEL ANGLE

Hot rolled ASTM A36 mild steel equal-leg angle for brackets, frames, shelf supports, gate corners, and general fabrication or repair work. The equal-leg L profile resists bending in two directions and is easy to cut with a hacksaw, abrasive chop saw, or bi-metal bandsaw blade, drill with HSS or cobalt bits, and arc or MIG weld to size.

• Heavy 1/4-inch wall thickness for higher-load fabrication where 1/8-inch stock would flex; drill and cut more slowly and use sharp bi-metal blades.
