These Madison Mill poplar dowels  are machined to exact size from kiln dried material.  They strive to hold the dimensions to plus or minus five thousandths of an inch. 

Poplar is a cream color hardwood. It offers superior quality characteristics for sanding,gluing, painting, staining, nailing and stapling. It is smooth and has a fine grain.
